According to Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, India has achieved an all-time high in its overall exports, which have crossed 750 billion US dollars. Mr. Goyal made this announcement during his speech at the ASSOCHAM Annual Session 2023 in New Delhi on Tuesday. He highlighted that this accomplishment occurred during the 75th year of independence and the ongoing celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The Minister also noted that there has been robust growth in both merchandise and service sectors. Additionally, Mr. Goyal emphasized that India's G20 presidency presents a unique opportunity for the industry and businesspersons to showcase India's business globally and should be leveraged accordingly.
