India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that PM MITRA mega textile parks will be established in seven states, namely Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister explained that PM MITRA mega textile parks will bolster the textiles industry in accordance with the 5F vision, which covers Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign. He further stated that these textile parks will offer cutting-edge infrastructure for the textiles sector, lure investment, and generate hundreds of thousands of jobs. He emphasized that this will serve as a remarkable illustration of 'Make in India' and 'Make For the World.'
